Edmund Bernardi,
Partner, has over twenty-five years experience in the Information Technology
industry, twenty of which in senior executive positions in leading companies
such as Hewlett Packard, Xerox Co., Olivetti, Siemens-Nixdorf and Dell.
He started his career in Hewlett Packard, holding management positions in
Finance, Sales and Marketing, based in Stuttgart and Munich.
He then joined Rank Xerox as General Manager for Xerox Engineering Systems
in Germany.
After four years with Xerox, he joined Strässle GmbH, a top ten software
company for industry solutions in Germany, as Senior Vice President Sales
and Marketing in a pre-IPO assignment.
Following Strässle, he worked for Olivetti as their General Manager for
Germany.
After this period, he managed as Senior Vice President Siemens-Nixdorf's
Sales and Marketing Operations worldwide for their Computer Business.
Before joining Hightech Partners in 2001, he was Vice President for Central Europe
and Enterprise Products EMEA in Dell Computers based in London and
Frankfurt.
These various operational positions provided him with a broad experience and
knowledge of marketing, sales and general management. His industry
expertise includes Hardware, Software, Networking, Field Service, System
Integration and Consultancy for Technology end users in all
industries and the public sector.
Mr. Bernardi has Master Degrees in Business Administration, Engineering and
Computer Sciences from the Technical University of Karlsruhe.
Mr Bernardi is married with two children and resides near Frankfurt, Germany.
